Overview

Early Elementary-aged kids are old hands at the storytime routine.  They are able to follow longer and more complex storylines than their preschool and Kindergarten predecessors.

Though they are still invested in their "little helper" role, they are beginning to develop a sense of humor and enjoy light-hearted stories about things going wrong.

Read at only slightly slower than a normal pace.
