Here's a little mousekin

     Peeping from his hole.

Soft as a willow bud,

     Quiet as a mole.

He peeps to the left,

     And he peeps to the right.

Hide yourself, Mousekin--

     The cat's in sight!

(cup one hand around the other)

(two fingers peep out)

(wiggle fingers like a mouse sniffing)

(move fingers left)

(move fingers right--gasp!)

(quickly pull fingers out of sight)
